Before we begin our journey together…

I will arrange a 15-minute call with you either via telephone or facetime. This is so valuable for us both to decide the next phase, whether we want to work together or if you need support from someone else. We can also arrange the type of support you are seeking. I work intuitively and integrate a number of therapeutic modalities within my work so each session will be different.  You may initially feel that talking therapy is what you need but this way of working is fluid and interchangeabe. I ask that you have an open mind about the way we approach things and allow the process of unfurling to come with ease.
In our first session will talk through the therapeutic agreement and I will do an assessment.  This helps:

• to further determine if we will work together
• us to decide what type of support you need
• me to manage the depth of our sessions

Our Safety…

I am a registered member of the British association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP) and I adhere to their code of ethics. I have a duty of care towards you as my client and myself as your therapist.

I have incorporated how I work safely during COVID19.

I will be asking that you read and agree to a contract which will be emailed to you before the first session.

I am COVID19 compliant and have taken all of the necessary measures possible. Our safety is paramount during this time it is important you are responsible for your wellbeing and others. If you have any signs of COVID19 you will take the appropriate measures and notify me as soon as you are physically able if you are unable to attend a session.  If you are in a high-risk group please consider that your safety cannot be guaranteed and it is your responsibility to decide whether a face-to-face meeting is appropriate at this time.

If we meet outside my treatment room I would encourage you to bring your own face covering, hand sanitizer, tissues and drinks. If I am visiting, you in your home I will need access to washing facilities, and I will also have anti-bacterial hand gel and mask if required. I would request you wash your hands when I visit, and I will do the same.

If we are meeting online via zoom I would kindly request there are no distractions and you are in a safe space. Safe space is the room for you to share what is going on within a confidential setting and you feel comfortable doing this.
